Mr. Danny “Dan” Herman Troutman, 58, of Mount Pleasant, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 6, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.
A visitation to celebrate Dan’s life will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wilkinson Funeral Home in Concord. The family will greet friends and loved ones during this time. We encourage everyone to wear their favorite jersey in memory of Dan, embracing the comfort and joy he brought to our lives.
Per Dan's wishes, no formal service will be held.
Dan was born on November 15, 1966, in Cabarrus County, to the late Lula Bea Helms Troutman and Herman Boyd Troutman. He is also preceded in death by his brothers, Randy Troutman and Tim Troutman; granddaughter, Paislee Payne.
He was a proud graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and a dedicated employee of Charlotte Pipe for over 34 years, where he worked as a pipe fitter. Dan’s strong work ethic, loyalty, and easygoing nature were well known to all who knew him.
He was a devoted family man who cherished time spent with his children and grandchildren, especially at their sporting events. Rarely missing a game, Dan could always be found cheering from the sidelines with pride. He found joy in the simple things — a good ballgame, time with his beloved wife Stacy, and moments surrounded by family. He was a true Pittsburg Steelers fan and loved watching his western movies.
He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Stacy Hartsell Troutman, with whom he shared 18 beautiful years together. Also surviving are his children: Aaron “Ace” Herman Troutman and wife, Hayley, Tiffany Jane Payne and husband, Marcus, Danny Vance Troutman and wife, Brianna, Brandon Lee Wensil; grandchildren: Chandler “Champ” Troutman, Kinsleigh Troutman, Laiken Troutman, Faith Payne, Addalynn Payne, and Ryland Payne; and his beloved dog, Elvis; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dan’s legacy of love, loyalty, and laughter will live on in those he held most dear.
Wilkinson Funeral Home is honored to serve the Troutman family. Online condolences may be shared at www.wilkinsonfuneralhome.com.
