Claude Allen

Mr. Claude Edward Allen Jr, 58, of Mount Pleasant passed away Friday October 8, 2021 with his loving wife, Bonnie of 28 years by his side.

A memorial service will be held Saturday October 16, 2021 at Gethsemane Baptist Church in Concord officiated by Pastor Bob Tallent. The family will receive friends after the service.

Claude was born November 23, 1962 in Concord to the late Claude E Allen Sr and Colleen June Newton Allen. Claude worked as an auto mechanic turning a hobby into a job. Claude enjoyed tinkering with his old dune buggy, or any other car with nothing but the sound of the radio down in his shop. He also enjoyed cooking for his family and it cannot be determined if the best was his tacos, the spaghetti or his BBQ pork chops. We are especially grateful that he took the time to teach his children how to cook his squash casserole and many other dishes. He also enjoyed spending time at the river with his wife and friends. Claude is survived by his wife Bonnie Allen. Children Candace Tallent and husband Robert and Christopher Odom wife Kaitlin Livingston. Grandchildren Mason, Annie, and Jethro Tallent and Kinsley Odom. Brothers Steve and Scotty. Sisters Shelia, Angela, Claudia, Autumn and Iris and numerous nieces and nephews.
