Mr. Charles “Scott” Edwards, age 46, passed away unexpectedly April 19, 2019.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 pm Thursday, May 2 at Wilkinson Funeral Home. A service to celebrate his life will be held at 3 pm in the chapel with Rev. Travis Boovy officiating.

Scott was born November 28, 1972 in Cabarrus County. He was the son of Janice Frady Tucker and step-dad, Gary Tucker of Concord. He is also survived by his sisters, Jill Shoop and husband, Shawn of Houston, TX, and Julie Austin of Concord; nephews, Jackson and Presley Austin; father of Scott, Charles Edwards and his wife, Bobbie, and numerous other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Arthur and Cleona Allman and his paternal grandparents, Charles and Irene Edwards.

Scott enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a big history buff. He studied the Native American culture and its artifacts. He also had a passion for drawing and sketching. Scott loved the Lord and knew his bible. He was instrumental in starting many bible studies. He was a beloved son, brother and uncle who had a big heart for his family. He will be truly missed. We will meet again one day and never part.
