Carolyn Mcdaniel

CHARLOTTE- Carolyn Sue McDaniel, age 82, died peacefully on October 14, 2021. Born on August 11. 1939, she was the daughter of Coy Ford McDaniel and Ruth Elizabeth Bailey McDaniel. She was predeceased by her brother Coy Ford McDaniel, Jr. and her sister Betty McDaniel Stewart.

Carolyn graduated from Concord High School and attended one year of college. She worked at various locations before retiring after 26 years of employment from Continental Tire. She was a life-long member of McGill Street Baptist Church. Her family dearly loved her and will miss her radiant smile and contagious sense of humor.

Carolyn is survived by her brother, Bobby Gene McDaniel, brother Jerry Samuel McDaniel, nine nieces and nephews, and a host of cousins and other family members and friends.

A graveside service was held at Carolina Memorial Park on Sunday October 24, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to McGill Baptist Church, 5300 Poplar Tent Rd., Concord NC 28027.
