Mr. Butch Weast of Rockwood Road passed away Thursday June 2, 2016 at NorthEast Medical Center in Concord.
A graveside service with military honors will be 1 PM Monday, June 6, 2016 at Charlotte Memorial Gardens officiated by Rev. Rodie Carlan. The family will receive friends at the cemetery following the service.
Butch was born March 2, 1943 in Concord to the late Clarence Marvin Weast and Margaret Brown Hullender Weast. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Weast, step- daughter, Tammy Graham, step-son, David Graham and a brother, Charlie Weast.
Butch proudly served in the U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division from 1961 to 1967. He was a member of Providence Baptist Church and the American Legion, both in Harrisburg. He was a semi-truck operator. Butch was a gentle and kind man who had a heart of gold.
Butch is survived by his wife of 45 years, Donna Anglemyer Weast; daughters, Anna Anguzza and husband, Kevin, Dani Cofield and Angie Graham; sons, David, Ronnie and Scottie Weast; 20 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and his brother, Bob Weast.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
