Mr. Bobby Dwight Troutman, age 64 of Gold Hill, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2024 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, following a brief illness.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, September 21st at Community Church in Locust at 11am with Pastor Landon Keziah officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service beginning at 10am.
Bob was born January 15, 1960 in Cabarrus County and was the son of Herman Harrison Troutman and Lois Kathleen Scott Troutman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers.
Bob's unwavering work ethic and dedication to his family were hallmarks of his professional and personal life. His exceptional craftsmanship earned him a reputation for delivering superior quality work. Animals of all kinds held a special place in his heart, especially his horses and dogs. His warm demeanor was marked by a contagious laugh and a smile that always accompanied his greeting.
Bob is survived by his loving family; his wife, Martha Wilkins Troutman; son, Adam Troutman (Becky); stepsons, John Shaver, Joseph Shaver (Rebecca), and Shannon Shaver; grandchildren, Levi and Brooklynn Troutman (Adam), Mason and Sawyer Shaver, Reagan Fuller (Joseph); sisters, Virginia Kowalsky, Wanda Soots, Connie Draughn and Janet Patterson; brothers, Grady Troutman, David Troutman, Scott Troutman and many nieces and nephews.
