Bobby Coleman

Bobby Gene Coleman passed on March 22, 2023 at Atrium Health Cabarrus in Concord. Bob was born May 28, 1934 to William Luther and Cora Springer Coleman in rural Cabarrus County. Educated at Odell School, he spent the majority of his career with RCA Factory Service in Charlotte. In retirement he enjoyed traveling with his wife Sylvia and their friends. He also began the restoration and collecting of antique farm tractors.

Preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Rudisill Coleman; parents; and 10 brothers and sisters. He is survived by his son, Bob and his wife Candy Coleman; a brother, Dub Coleman; sister in laws, Sib Plummer, Betty Ann Rudisill, Joyce Coleman; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.

A memorial service will be held in the Wilkinson Funeral Home chapel at 1:00 pm on Monday, March 27 followed by a time to gather with family and friends.

Special thanks to Dr. Timothy Paul with Atrium Family Medicine in Mt Pleasant, and the other doctors, nurses and medical professionals that helped during his recent illness.
