Mrs. Bobbie Loggins Cook, 80, passed away on Monday September 18, 2017. She was born December 24, 1936 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Marie Kiser Loggins and James Harold Loggins, Sr.
She was a graduate of Hartsell High School and Evans Business College, later went to Rowan Cosmetology School and worked as a beautician for the next 40 years.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother James “Jimmy" Loggins, Jr.
Bobbie is survived by her husband James “Lefty” Cook and three children, James “Chip” Cook and Kathy Lee, Dr. Jeffery Cook and wife Amy, and Lisa Atwood and husband Chris. Step mother and special friend Maizie Loggins.
Along with six grandchildren, Ryan Cook, Zach Cook, Collin Cook, Grayson Atwood, Austin Atwood and Allison Atwood.
Mrs. Cook enjoyed going to all sporting events and games her children and grandchildren were involved in. She loved making cakes for friends and family, she also loved to cook and have friends and family drop in to eat on the weekends.
Bobbie was a member of Cold Springs United Methodist Church. Services for her funeral will be held at Wilkinson Funeral Home on September 21, 2017. Receiving will be from 11:30 to 12:30 and the service will start at 12:30 with Pastor Mary Hatley officiating. Burial will follow the service at Cold Springs UMC Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial can be made to Cold Springs UMC Cemetery fund and general fund, 2550 Cold Springs Rd., Concord, NC 28025.
