Billy Moose

With heavy hearts, we mourn the unexpected passing of Mr. Billy Wayne Moose, 67, of Concord, who departed from this world on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at his home.

Born on March 3, 1957, in Concord, Billy was the son of the late Mildred Louise Williams Moose and Billy Boger Moose. He spent 30 dedicated years of his life working as a stacker at Fieldcrest Cannon before retiring.

Billy's memory will be cherished by his sisters, Tammy M. Greene and husband, Edward of Biscoe, Brenda Blake and husband, Kenneth of Troy, and his beloved dog, Baby Girl.

Billy will be remembered for his warmth, his ready smile, and his genuine kindness. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him, and his absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.

A graveside service to honor Billy's life will be held at 3:30 pm on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Boger Reformed Church Cemetery. Prior to the service, the family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 pm on Sunday at Wilkinson Funeral Home.

Though Billy may no longer be with us in body, his spirit will forever remain in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known him. May he rest in peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.

Forever in our hearts, Billy Wayne Moose will be dearly missed and fondly remembered. May he find eternal peace in the embrace of the divine.
