Mrs. Betty Starnes, age 62 passed away Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Tucker Hospice House.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Wilkinson Funeral Home and will be at the home of Zeb and Shirley Starnes, 1022 Patricia Ave, Harrisburg, NC 28075 at other times. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Sunday, February 7, 2016 in Wilkinson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Buck Canup and J.T. Craig officiating. Burial will be in Harrisburg Baptist Church Cemetery.
Betty was born March 27, 1953 in Cabarrus County, daughter of the late Lewis West Bryant and Katherine Starnes Burgess and Ervin and Dorthy Eudy. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Lewis West Bryant, Jr., Frankie Parnell, Coy Eudy and a sister, Joyce Houston.
Left to cherish her memory is husband, Frankie Starnes; daughter, Katherine Rusch; sons, Dusty Starnes and wife, Bri and Rusty Starnes and wife, Charley; grandchildren, Katlyn and Tori Burnett, RJ and MacKenzie Starnes; brothers, Wayne Eudy and wife, Jolene and Jim Burgess and wife, Vickie; sisters, Becky Eudy Coley and husband, Dale and Jane Eudy Baker; her special friend, Melinda Murray and a special little friend, Cutie Pie.
