Betty Jean Hopkins Mauldin

Mrs. Betty Jean Hopkins Mauldin passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at Five Oaks Rehabilitation & Care Center.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM Saturday at Wilkinson Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 PM at Carolina Memorial Park officiated by Rev. Burton Robinson.

Betty was born in Concord to the late Floyd Hopkins and Alice Blackwelder Hopkins. She was also preceded in death by husband Horace Douglas Mauldin, Sr. Betty was a member of Westford Methodist Church and was a resident of Zion Church Road until her health sent her to Five Oaks. She was a dental assistant until she became the bookkeeper for the family business. She was always supportive of the neighborhood, its activities and children.

Betty is survived by sons H. Douglas Mauldin, Jr. of Concord and Dean A. Mauldin of Snellville, GA. and other extended family members.
