Barbara Ann Sealey Busbin

Mrs. Barbara Ann Sealey Busbin, of Mt. Pleasant, passed away Monday, May 2, 2022 at her home.

Funeral services will be 3 PM Friday at Wilkinson Funeral Home officiated by Rev. Jesse Clubb. The family will receive friends starting at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.

Barbara was born February 22, 1937 in Concord to the late Roy Edison Sealey and Eva Lovette Sealey. She was also preceded in death by two brothers Ray and Elmer Sealey, and her dear friend Richard Slick with whom she spent years traveling, going to the senior centers, spending time with friends and just enjoying life. Barbara attended Concord High School and retired from Concord Telephone Company as an operator. She loved being with family, attended the Cabarrus Co. Senior Center, reading, and working cross word puzzles.

Barbara is survived by daughters Donna B. Stutts and husband Martin of Mt. Pleasant, and Kathy B. Whitley of Augusta, GA; son Donald “Bub” Busbin II; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, and two great great grandchildren.
