No matter what the situation, good or not so good, our family could always depend on "Head" to be first in line to assist and make it all better. He was an accomplished gardener, and was a player in the first years of NASCAR. Ralph Earnhardt and Dink Widenhouse depended on his expertise in the shop and the pits. His friends knew that he could be relied on for any needed assistance. The extended family and friends will deal with his loss for a long time. The Howard Family

Paula and Russell,

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I pray the Lord will give you His comfort and peace in the days ahead and that your heart will be filled with loving memories of your dad and mom. I will be out of town and will not be able to come to the visitation or funeral, but please know I will be praying for all of you.

Much love,

Dear Paula, Russell and Families,
I just saw where your Dad passed away. I am in shock as I did not know that he was sick. I always enjoyed seeing him around town and getting to talk to him about the people that we both knew. My prayers are with all of you.
Sincerely,
