I worked with Strick at both Royal Oaks and Concord Middle School. Teachers, as well students, loved his compassion, sense of humor, and big heart. He was truly one of my favorite people, and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. I was out of town this weekend and unable to attend Strick's service, but Susan, Erin, and Eric, please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace, dear Strick!

Strick was ahead of me but I graduated with Rhoda and remember the family well. My prayers are with the whole family as they were a great "bunch".

My class was ahead of Strick's - my sister, Jo Brown, was in his class and remembers him with great fondness. His late sister Lana was in my class at Odell. Deepest of sympathies to Strick's family and friends at his untimely loss, from the Brown sisters, Jo and Jean.

My condolences to the family. I worked with Strict when he was a principal in Cabarrus County Schools. He had a great heart for his students and worked hard to ensure that he had the best for them. I remember his big smile and his warming laugh.
