Marty and I were good friends while we were in High School in the early 70’s. He had dreams while the rest of us were just trying to get through school. Those dreams were always grand, of going to Nashville, and writing songs. His head was always in the clouds. God Bless you Marty! I think you finally did make it to Nashville!

It is with great sadness that I woke up this morning and what called and told Marty had passed at 7:25 a.m. Marty was an extremely talented musician and songwriter and a world class piano tunesmith. I have been knowing Marty since he was a young man guided him into songwriting taking him to Nashville the first time and exposing the music industry to him Marty is like a little brother to me and I will greatly miss him and I give my greatest condolences and deepest condolences to his family whose brother Eddie, his sister Teka, brother Jeff and to his children and grandchildren Marty was very special
