Condolence: To the Family of Dennis Pope:
My deepest condolences. Death of a loved one is never an easy thing to go through. Just remember you are not alone. Isaiah 61: 2 "...To comfort all who mourn" God is right here to help you. Look forward with confidence to the fulfillment of the promises found at John 6:40 and Acts 24:15, “ ... there is going to be a resurrection...”

Condolence: The loss of Dennis is a sad truth to take in. What a tragic loss for his son, Alex, Aimee, his wife, and for the rest of his family to endure.

Dennis was a lively and upbeat person who loved being a father. He deeply loved his son, and was extremely devoted to him. His passionate parenting, love of sports and travel took him to many highs in his life. He traveled extensively right after high school continuing his adventures with his beloved wife, Aimee, until shortly before he departed. He learned to speak fluent Japanese as an adult when he decided to work and live in Matsumoto, Japan for seven years in his twenties and early thirties.

Dennis was a graceful and powerful athlete excelling at tennis, golf, and basketball. He was fun to be around and always loved a good game of ping-pong, pool, or bowling, which he was a fierce competitor at any of these sports! and an involved sports watcher. He was a skilled Scrabble and Backgammon player, and terrific at darts and playing card games.

He also loved to read sophisticated literature and was an intelligent and thoughtful man. He loved business and worked the stock market as a hobby. Was a lover of the Wall Street Journal.

Dennis also loved dogs and had several to love throughout his life.

His laugh was big and infectious. Dennis was funny! He giggled a lot, had a teasing and playful personality. His son, Alex, his many nieces and nephews, and Alex's two brothers all surely have many delightful memories of Dennis that they will have forever. He was great with children of all ages.

Rest in peace, Dennis, knowing that you had lots of admirers and are at the center of so many scenes filled with your love and laughter. You will be missed tremendously.

Condolence: I had the great fortune of knowing Dennis way back in the 80’s when he was fresh out of high school. He and many of his fellow graduates and cohorts came to work with us and we all became fast friends. Dennis was everyone’s favorite. He was funny, kind, loaded with integrity and wise beyond his years. RIP Dennis. Condolences to all your many friends and loved ones.

Condolence: Dennis was in charge of training with a major project we had at work, and I was in awe of his energy and passion to seeing everyone succeed. I could always hear the joy in his voice, even when things weren't going as well as we wished with that project! We would sometimes just laugh it off... Dennis was just a positive person overall, who will be truly missed by those who were blessed to be able to work with him. My deepest condolences to his family; you'll be in my prayers.
